| Biography: Well, I guess life hasn't been all that exciting.
I've been married to Jim for almost 35 years. We have two children (and
their spouses). Jamie and Heidi live in Harbor Springs and have two sons,
Brandon, age 2, and Brody, age 7 months. Jodi and Paul live in Boyne City
and have Parker, age 3, and another son on the way and due this week. As
of now, their son has named this baby, Buzz Light Years. Grandchildren are
the best!!! We are quite fortunate to live so close to them. Jim plans on
retiring soon and I will not retire for 7 years (I do not want to leave
until the grandkids are in school and they are old enough to come and visit
us). We bought our retirement place in Arkansas. It is on a golf course.
In fact, it is all private and has 7 golf courses and 7 man-made lakes.
It looks a lot like Petoskey. My brothers retired there and we have talked
other friends into buying there also. Since we have NEVER lived anywhere
else but "good ole Petoskey", maybe I won't be so homesick.
Jim and I golf in the summer and are in tournaments as much as possible. He has other hobbies, but my main thing is going to see the grandkids (almost every day!) I guess the newness hasn't worn off yet. All in all, I guess we have lived a very quiet life - a little boring
sometimes, a little fighting sometimes, but we are still here. I guess
that's what counts. |
