Biography: Our family of five will become six next June as Chad will be getting married to Amanda DeBoer from Grand Rapids.

Melissa graduated with high honors in May from MSU in child development and will begin student teaching in GR this fall.

Chad will be a sophomore at Davenport University majoring in Amanda, I mean accounting, at least for now. He also plays hockey locally.

Matt is studying girls and getting ready for two a days beginning on 8/6 at East Kentwood High School where he'll be a junior and will be playing offensive tackle, possibly tight end and defensive end. He's 6'2" now, but we haven't determined where it comes from.

Sue is crazy as ever and works very hard keeping her four children in line. She and Melissa missed their calling in life, they both should have been professional shoppers.

As for me, when not working, I spend time working with the local and state boards for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, our church and sorting some of 3,000,000 or so sports cards engulfing our basement and garage. Sue and I attend flea markets once in awhile in the summer trying to sell them and passing out Sports Spectrum magazines-a monthly magazine printed by Radio Bible Class with testimonies of athletes from various sports. Of course, Sue also spends time shopping while there.

Our kids are our pets and obviously the guys are addicted to sports and the girls to shopping.

For the next year our kids will continue to be our tax shelter, after that we'll be seeking advice.

We've never won the lottery, but I suppose ya' play to win.
Our land holdings consist of our home and we're thankful to have that.
We'll never be rich in earthly things, but our retirement plan is out of this world.
